Newspaper Stories: Structo Magazine

Structo issue 4 from Euan on Vimeo.

In the continuing tradition of seeing papers we’ve printed in action, here is a short video of Structo Magazine #4. You can see it in all its glory accompanied by the delightful soundtrack of My Morning Jacket (liking these musical choices!).

Structo is an independent fiction and poetry magazine. It is mostly online but they have recently used Newspaper Club to print short runs for each issue. It’s a great read and a very elegant newspaper. Copies are available to buy from the Structo Magazine website.

Newspapers stories: The Do Lectures 2010

The Do Lectures 2010 newspaper

Some of us (Russell and Anne) were lucky enough to get to the Do Lectures in lovely Welsh Wales last weekend. As well as seeing great speakers like Tim Berners-Lee and Bill Drummond we also had the pleasure of seeing some of our newspapers in their natural habitat (normally we don’t see them as they’re sent straight out after printing).

The Do Newspaper functions as a conference programme while also managing to capture the inspirational spirit of the lectures (no mean feat). Here it is in action:

Thanks to Jon Heslop and everyone at Do for a fantastic newspaper (and an amazing weekend), and to Claire Sambrook for the video. Nice to meet you Claire!
